Capital is patient. Operators are not.
The Misc Holdings model is deliberately old-fashioned. We borrow from a long tradition of permanent-capital vehicles — Berkshire, Constellation, Loews, Markel — that prioritise compounding intrinsic value over generating optical activity.
We invest where we can be additive: in payments infrastructure, in immersive media, in climate-aligned industrial technology, in financial software for underserved economies, and in frontier-infrastructure categories whose markets do not yet exist at scale.
We are not a venture firm and we are not an investment manager. We own businesses.
